How We Work

The CAPPCA FOUNDATION works in many ways across America with Organizations, Communities, Law Enforcement, and Education and with the many Churches who perform vital services in the prevention of child abuse.

CAPPCA's main purpose is to provide the funding and resources needed for child abuse prevention programs currently running and new programs that will bring awareness and help to put an end to this epidemic in America. In the prevention of child abuse there are so many needs that are not being addressed. We will place the funding in the hands of the Organizations and people that will put it to an effective use and create and activate these new programs that will reach into every communities. This is where the money will do the most good.

The biggest problem is the financial problem. "Money is the root of all evil," so it has been said. In the prevention of child abuse it is so very true. The lack of it is what is evil. There are many good programs and Organizations that could do a much better job and would be far more effective in their efforts if they had the financial resources.

Programs that are available can not be adequately implemented because of the lack of funding. There are many problems that exist because there are no programs available. Existing Organizations can not reach the people they need to help and support because of the lack of funding and new programs can not be created and implemented. New Organizations are badly needed due to the growing number of cases and reports of child abuse. By working together, every community can do their part to bring about the prevention of child abuse.

The resources that CAPPCA can provide will bring about awareness in every community across America. CAPPCA must help accomplish changes on a State and Federal level as well. This may sound like it is a political basis situation and that this would be a monumental task, but not so. The mere fact that communities will be seen quickly by the State will cause the State to take notice of their needs. This will then bring about awareness on a Federal level. This is where CAPPCA and their resources will come into play. CAPPCA can reach current lobbyists as well as gain new ones to make sure that programs, government assistance, laws and much more are brought before congress.

Millions of dollars every year are spent on Conferences held for the Prevention of Child Abuse. These conferences are vital and accomplish a great deal. Yet all who attend these conferences find themselves without the proper funding to do the job they need to do in order to progress. Another major problem is that not enough people that need the Conferences can attend due to the lack of funding to get them there. We have the solution for these individuals that need to attend these Conferences. Again CAPPCA can help in many ways to make sure the classes and training given at these Conferences are made available to every worker in the field of child abuse.

Why is it so important for every person in the field to attend? Because it provides training, promotes new programs and gives the education on new procedures that need to be made aware of. CAPPCA not only has the resources available to them but we have the experts in the field of child abuse prevention and can make them and their information available to all whom attend these Conferences. This is a major undertaking by CAPPCA. The wonderful thing about it is we know how to accomplish it. It is not a political situation. CAPPCA knows what is needed to be done and what is needed to accomplish this vital mission.

Billions of dollars are spent every year in the prevention of child abuse. But yet it is a growing problem. There is not enough funding being spent on the solution that can bring about a halt to child abuse. Only the heart, generosity and integrity of America can give the resources that are needed to bring about a major halt to this terrible problem with the hope that other countries will join the CAPPCA family and eradicate child abuse on a global scale.

CAPPCA has the people, the programs and knows where the solutions are. Every Organization and group in the field of child abuse in America will join hands to bring about this accomplishment. As CAPPCA works to bring about a halt to child abuse, they will provide the funding to maintain these programs for future generations. We must work very closely with many of the Universities that teach Human Services to students who plan to go into the field of Health and Social Services. CAPPCA must also help in the medical field to support better programs to teach physicians proper technique and procedures. These doctors and health care providers are on the front lines in the ER at most major hospitals. But it can not stop there. We must provide better training and programs to schools and kindergartens. Most of these programs exist now but are not available to all due to lack of funding.

Billions of dollars are given every year to so many charities. But little of this money is placed in the hands of people who can stop child abuse. One of the important things we at CAPPCA have noticed is very little attention is given back to the sponsors who make donations. That will not be the case at CAPPCA. We will recognize each and every donation given. When the public becomes aware of who is giving in their community they soon open their eyes to that cause. By giving praise to our contributors on an individual basis, people will know who is helping to support the Prevention of Child Abuse in their community. CAPPCA will acknowledge the support of Companies that have graciously given to the Prevention of Child Abuse and promote their services in return for their efforts. This benefits everyone.
